To adapt to new demands on lawyers and increased anti-dumping legal issues after China's entry into the WTO, the Firm set up an anti-dumping department, which is the only such organization sponsored by a law firm to focus on WTO-related legal issues, analyzing countermeasures, and handling anti-dumping claims and counter-claims. The department is comprised of a group of lawyers, who have rich theoretical and practical experience in legal issues related to dispute resolution, anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, international finance, investment, international trade, etc.
The lawyers in this department, by virtue of their elite professionalism and performance, has been entrusted by the relevant governmental agencies to participate in the drafting and revision of the ˇ°Regulation on Anti-Dumping of the PRCˇ±, the ˇ°Regulation on Anti-Subsidy of the PRCˇ± and the ˇ°Regulation on Protective Measures of the PRCˇ±. In addition, the lawyers in the anti-dumping department have been invited as legal experts by investigating organizations in many anti-dumping and protective measure cases, and participated in the decision-making of such cases. Moreover, at invitations of the State Economic and Trade Commission, Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation, Ministry of Agriculture, China Enterprise Directors Association, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, All China Lawyers Association, etc, the lawyers of the department have attended many national anti-dumping seminar and symposia and presided over many research projects of national ministries and departments, studying and probing into deeply of anti-dumping theories.
