Yi Zhang, P.R.C. lawyer, Partner
Yi Zhang is one of the partner attorneys of Richard Wang & Co. He obtained his Bachelor degree of Law from China University of Political Science and Law and obtained his Master degree in Temple University of USA.
Mr. Zhang has accumulated rich experience in domestic and foreign antidumping and countervailing related WTO legal affairs. He has assisted the Ministry of Commerce of China, chambers of commerce and many famous large-scale enterprises of different industries in defending antidumping and countervailing investigations, including those initiated by the EU, US, Australia, India and South Africa, etc. concerning products such as certain footwear, tires, silk fabric and steel, etc. In most cases, Mr. Zhang succeeded in claiming zero or relatively low duty rate for the clients.
Invited by the State Council and the Ministry of Commerce of China, Mr. Zhang attended many nationwide seminars on antidumping and countervailing affairs and participate in several antidumping and countervailing research projects promoted by relative ministries and commissions of the central government. Moreover, Mr. Zhang also provided his suggestions to the Ministry of Commerce concerning the revisions of the PRC Anti-dumping Regulations and the PRC Countervailing Regulations. He participated in writing the book named Conspectus of Anti-dumping System and was the chief editor of the journal named WTO Rules and China Market.
Mr. Zhang has been interviewed by many famous medias including the CCTV, Beijing TV, Shanghai Oriental TV, People Daily, Legal Daily and International Business Daily concerning antidumping and countervailing cases.
