Judith X. Yang, P.R.C. lawyer, Senior Partner
Lawyer Judith X. Yang, senior partner, obtained her Bachelor of Law degree from East China University of Law and Politics in 1986 and LL.M degree from the University of Warwick in England.
From July 1986 to March 1992, Lawyer Yang worked in the Shanghai High Court and the Shanghai Intermediate Court, during which period she handled commercial cases of litigation. From April 1993 to March 1994, she worked as a general counsel for Shanghai Jinqiao Export Processing Zone Development PLC., during which period, she was in charge of the negotiations with General Electric, Carrefour and some other foreign capital venture over the issues of investing and setting office in Shanghai. Furthermore, Lawyer Yang was in charge of the whole legal services for the real estate development and construction project of Shanghai BI YUN International Community and made it a success. Lawyer Yang joined this firm in 1998 as a partner and then furthered her education in England for several years. She came back to China in 2002 and continued her legal practice till present.
Lawyer Yang specialized in real estate, merger and acquisition, foreign investment, settlement of business dispute and some other legal fields. Recent years, she played a significant role in some key projects of foreign investment enterprises, listed company, state-owned enterprises and government institution in the settlement of their major disputes. Recently, the key projects she completed as an agency including the comprehensive development project of real estate of Century Megalopolis which several hundred million is invested in it, series assets reorganization and financing projects of a listed company, recovering huge amount economic losses to a Central enterprise and a foreign-funded enterprise through law suits and arbitration concerning foreign affairs.
